Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kaedah penentuan tempoh minimum haid dan tempoh maksimum pada zaman sekarang khususnya di Brunei Darussalam. Metodologi kajian adalah kaedah kuantiatif memalui soal selidik yang diedarkan kepada 394 orang responden di 4 daerah di Brunie iaitu Brunei, Tutong, Belait dan Temburong. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa secara umumnya wanita di Brunei Darussalam mempunyai tempoh minimum haid yang berbeza dari sehari ke 20 hari. Putara tempoh kebiasaan haid adalah selama 7 hari iaitu 44.7% daripada keseluruhan responden. Manakala, tempoh maksimum kedatangan haid adalah diantara 13 hingga 15 hari (43.4%). Hanya 25.6% mempunyai tempoh haid maksimum antara 6 hingga 8 hari. Bagi tempoh suci, didapati bahawa secara puratanya 52.8% mempunyai tempoh suci selama 15 hingga 17 hari. Hasil dapatan kajian ini mendapati tempoh haid minimum dan maksimum sudah berubah di mana terdapat faktor perubatan dan kesihatan, faktor pemakanan, faktorpsikologi dan faktor sosiobudaya. Selain itu, satu kajian lanjut perlu dijalankan untuk menyelaraskan tempoh minimum dan maksimum haid yang terbaharu berdasarkan ijtihad dan uruf sesuatu tempat.
