The explosive influence of new media which has become the contemporary challenges of today require us to further strengthen the knowledge and practice about Brunei life values based on Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB). Therefore, the publication of this book is at least another step, in sharing knowledge and information not only to the people of Brunei but to outsiders who do not yet know and understand the way of life of the Brunei people. It is hoped that this publication will provide the insight, as well as knowledge to further strengthen the practice and appreciation of MIB values. This is because MIB is the foundation of unity that promotes mutual understanding and respect in community and national life. From a historical perspective, the MIB Concept has been around from 651 years ago in the life of Brunei people of various races, religions and socio-cultural backgrounds. Thus, it needs to be maintained and strengthened in today's globalized era for polticial, economic and social stability to achieve the National Vision 2035.
