The Journey from Subok, a book that chronicles the personal and professional journeys of eleven former High Commissioners and Ambassadors of Brunei Darussalam.

Eleven former High Commissioners / Ambassadors of Brunei Darussalam wrote essays / articles based on their experiences while serving overseas.  Places where they served including Bonn, London, New York, Canberra, Islamabad, Cairo, Paris, Seoul, Bangkok, Manila, Beijing and Muscat.
In the performance of their duties, they always bear in mind many aspects of Brunei Darussalam’s foreign policy such as giving emphasis on the importance of upholding “friendly relations among nations” based on the principles of respect for “the independence, sovereignty, equality and territorial integrity of all nations free from external influences.”

Launched on September 14, 2024, at the Brunei History Centre, this book is a tribute to the country's diplomatic legacy and a celebration of its 40th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighting Brunei's diplomatic achievements.
